Do you love to sing and want to be part of a joyful, supportive musical community? We are inviting new members to join our ensemble!
✨ WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:
Our practice sessions are much more than rehearsals. In the style of group voice lessons, our conductor focuses on developing strong technique rooted in vocal anatomy, range development, vocal health, breath control, stylistic interpretation, and improvisation. Gergana celebrates each singer’s individuality and prioritizes understanding each participant’s learning style, strengths, and challenges while fostering a supportive, joyful, and welcoming environment. The ultimate goal is to help each singer build confidence and develop strong performance skills.
👥 Who we welcome:
Singers from all backgrounds! Reading music is helpful but not required.
📅 Rehearsals: Monday evenings, 6:45–8:30 PM in North Vancouver (September–June).
AUDITIONS
Auditions are not about perfection or prior training. They are an opportunity to:
- Ensure new members have basic musical skills (harmonizing, tuning, and rhythm).
- Determine vocal range.
- Share expectations around the commitment and culture we are building together.
FEES
There is a membership fee to join the ensemble. Fees vary slightly each season but are usually under $500. Payment may be made in a lump sum or in monthly installments within the season.
The year is divided into two repertoire seasons (with two fee schedules). However, we ask members to commit to the full year and seek singers who are interested in a long-term commitment. Regular attendance is expected at rehearsals and performances, with only occasional exceptions.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Singers may withdraw at any time during the first month of each season and receive a pro-rated refund. Withdrawals made after the first month are not eligible for a refund.
